Production began in December 1966 and ended in June 1967. MKIIs have a 9 digit serial number with B3821 prefix. The 4261cc motor of the earlier models is now replaced with the 4727cc motor still fitted with a 2 barrel Autolite 2100 carburettor. The MKII was built for export and was never offered to the home market bar a handful for the Police and a few private Rootes dealer sales at the end of production. The most obvious changes to the exterior of the MKII is sidewinder stripes replacing the s/s strip, an egg crate grill and wheel arch opening mouldings. The small production numbers make the MKII a highly prized example of the marque with only around 24 in the UK.
